This time the children’s work will run from 10am-1pm on Saturday morning and 11am-1pm on Sunday morning. There is no official work in the evenings due to lack of volunteers, but we hope to have a movie night for the children in the school on Saturday night from 6-8pm. To guarantee a place for your child, it would really help if you pre-book them on line; we can then ensure we have sufficient helpers for each session. If this is not possible, please don’t let it stop you coming with children and bring them along anyway.
The children’s work is for children of Primary School age, ages 5-12.
Parents can register for their children on the first evening of the conference at Kyleakin Village Hall or on Saturday morning. The sessions are open only to children of conference participants. Pre-booking is not essential but it would be helpful to the organisers if parents would email their registration requests in advance of the Gathering to firstname.lastname@example.org
Parents should sign in their children at each session at Kyleakin School, close to the Kyelakin Hall.
The children’s work will be headed up by Debbie who is currently employed as a Children & Family worker for Ruchill Church of Scotland in Glasgow and a fellow volunteer Alison who is a teacher in Glasgow. Both are PVG registered with the Church of Scotland.
