This time the children’s work will run from 10am-1pm on Saturday morning and 11am-1pm on Sunday morning. There is no official work in the evenings due to lack of volunteers, but we hope to have a movie night for the children in the school on Saturday night from 6-8pm. To guarantee a place for your child, it would really help if you pre-book them on line here; we can then ensure we have sufficient helpers for each session. If this is not possible, please don’t let it stop you coming with children and bring them along anyway.
The children’s work is for children of Primary School age, ages 5-12.
Parents can register for their children on the first evening of the conference at Kyleakin Village Hall or on Saturday morning. The sessions are open only to children of conference participants. Pre-booking is not essential but it would be helpful to the organisers if parents would email their registration requests in advance of the Gathering to firstname.lastname@example.org
Parents should sign in their children at each session at Kyleakin School, close to the Kyelakin Hall.
Debbie Boyle, who is an experienced Children’s worker and ran the children’s work last May is returning with a small team of volunteers who are giving their time and efforts to lead the children on Saturday and Sunday morning.
We hope to have a movie night for the children on the Saturday night which will require parental volunteers so please get in touch if you are willing to help out with this.
